ICARHMA 2024 Annual meeting was held in San Paulo, Brazil

On 23rd August 2024, JRAIA participated in 2024 Annual meeting of ICARHMA (The International Council of Air Conditioning, Refrigeration and Heating Manufacturers Association), an international council of eleven global RACHP industry associations held in San Paulo, Brazil.
■Previous annual meeting of ICARHMA 2023
This meeting is held once a year on a rotating basis by member associations to discuss positions and responses to global industry-related activities, with a focus on global environmental issues. This year, ABRAVA, Brazil’s industry association hosted face to face meeting. 14 participants from ABRAVA(Brazil), AHRI(USA), AREMA(Australia), CRAA (China), Eurovent(Europe), HRAI(Canada), KRAIA(Korea), and JRAIA(Japan) attended the meeting in person.
A day prior to the meeting, ICARHMA members visited Escola SENAI, the training center of HVACR equipment.
In the meeting, members shared top three issues of each association, and discussed the possibility of publishing the industry’s position paper to address policy makers.
In addition, guest speakers from government institutions presented Brazil’s government policy and labelling program.
Next ICARHMA working group will be held in-person on 9th February in Orlando, U.S., and annual meeting is scheduled to be held in Prague around September, to be hosted by Eurovent.
